EXHIBITION where you can learn about the history of the Canal de Castilla.
The Water Museum located on the Palencia wharf, in an old cereal warehouse rehabilitated in 2012 by the Palencia City Council, and reopened on August 2, 2021 after a reform that has made it a magnificent starting point for a tour virtual through the Canal de Castilla.
Water is definitively the protagonist of daily life from the moment its use begins, until the arrival of the railway, which caused its disuse as the fastest and most economical means.
At the end of the visit, nothing better than strolling along the canal's towpaths and enjoying nature on one of the most beautiful walks in the city of Palencia.
